Online Library & University Computing Helpdesk service during University Christmas closed period

Although the Online Library resources will be available over the University Christmas closed period, the Online Librarian enquiry service and the University Computing Services Helpdesk will be closed from Friday 21st December 13.00 (UK time) 2007 and will open again on Wednesday 2nd January 2008. All electronic resources services will be 'at risk' during the closed period so if any service fails and does not automatically restore, no action will be taken to re-instate it until the morning of 2nd January 2008.

If you do experience any problems during the closed period accessing the MetaLib Library search tool, please try the advice in this Library FAQ. Other common FAQs about Library access problems are available and may help you. Often problems are only temporary, so if you have a problem, always try again later. Any enquiries sent to Online_Librarian@embanet.com will be answered on January 2nd 2008.

The University Library and the Computing Services Department would like to take this opportunity to send all students and staff of the University seasonal greetings for Christmas and the New Year.
