Web of Knowledge: Upgrade Sunday 20 July 2008 commences 14:00


Please note this message we have received from Thomson Reuters about an upgrade to ISI Web of Knowledge on Sunday, 20 July 2008.

Thomson Reuters will be performing its quarterly upgrade to the ISI Web of Knowledge this coming Sunday, 20 July 2008. This upgrade will start at 9:00 EDT - 14:00 BST.

Please Note:
There will be disruptions to WOK access including personalisation services and End Note Web throughout the day. We apologise for any inconvenience that this might cause.

Quarterly Upgrades include:

  • Citation Map's Introduction in Web of Science (visual map image displays)
  • New Tab or Window using Right Click
  • Support of browser back button from Full Record to Summary page
  • Inclusion of DOI metadata information in Search Summary, Full Records and Output
  • Sort by Times Cited for results in the All Database search
  • Search by Address in the All Databases search
