Need help finding information? Try the new ILR!

Do you need help with any of the following:

  • Finding information
  • Planning searches
  • Using the Online Library
  • Effective internet searching
  • Evaluating information
  • Referencing correctly
If the answer is 'yes' then try out the Information Literacy Resource (ILR) - a self study resource from the Library designed to help students with finding, evaluating and organising information for their research.

There is a NEW ILR for MPH students and an UPDATED version of the ILR for MBA and MSc students.

The ILR can be found in the:

Embanet MBA Area - MBA Information Literacy folder
Embanet MSc Area - MSc Information Literacy folder
Embanet MPH Area - MPH Information Literacy folder

The ILR is divided into seven units - for each, there is a lecture, an assignment and answers. Students are strongly recommended to work through the ILR as early as possible in their programme.

If you have any questions about this, or other Library matters, please contact Stephanie Allen, the Online Librarian.
