EBSCO's Business Source Premier available from Library - includes Harvard Business Review

A reminder for all MBA students and staff that the Library has a new subscription to EBSCO's Business Source Premier which includes Harvard Business Review, from 1922.

This excellent collection provides the full text for more than 8,800 serials, including more than 1,100 peer-reviewed business publications, including the world's top management and marketing journals such as:

Harvard Business Review, from 1922
California Management Review, from 1958
Academy of Management Journal, from 1958
Academy of Management Review, from 1976
Journal of Management Studies, from 1964 (latest 12 months not available)
Journal of Marketing Management, 1985 (latest 12 months not available)
Journal of Marketing Research, from 1964
Journal of Marketing, from 1936
Journal of International Marketing, from 1993

Additional full text, non-journal content includes market research reports, industry reports, country reports, company profiles and SWOT analyses. Business Source Premier contains PDF images for the great majority of journals; many of these PDF's are native (searchable) or scanned-in-colour. This database is updated daily on EBSCOhost.

To access Business Source Premier:

Go to the management collections page.

Using the blue Library login box to the left of the page, login to Athens using your Managed Windows Service (MWS) username and password. Close the pop up box once logged in (this authenticates you as a University of Liverpool user and allows you access).

Click on the Connect link for Business Source Premier (Business Source Premier is the second collection listed on the management collections page). Once connected, Business Source Premier can be searched on the generic EBSCOhost platform, or on the Business Searching Interface designed especially for it.

Do ask if you have any questions about using Business Source Premier, or wish to give any feedback. I will be happy to help. Contact details: Stephanie Allen, Online Librarian at Online_Librarian@embanet.com; +44 (0) 151 794 4345

I've used this and found some very helpful, relevant material for my MBA dissertation - it was also very easy to use - I would recommend to other MBA students(MBA Online student)
